What is a Product Replacement Plan?
The TotalGuard Product Replacement Plan is offered on eligible products with a purchase price of $300 or less. If the product fails, a gift card will be sent allowing you to purchase the replacement product of your choice in any HBC store. This Plan protects the customer for two years from the date of purchase.
What is a Service Protection Plan?
TotalGuard Service Protection Plans are available on Plasma TV's, LCD TV's, X-box, PS3 and Wii. A service protection plan protects your purchase beyond the manufacturer's limited warranty. The Plan provides for Repair or replacement if the product cannot be repaired.
Why purchase either a Product Replacement Plan or a Service Protection Plan?
Both protection plans provide peace of mind should your product fail.
Is TotalGuard Eligible for HBC Rewards?
Yes, the TotalGuard Plan is eligible for HBC rewards.
Is the TotalGuard Plan renewable?
The TotalGuard program is NOT renewable.

Why do I have to provide my name and postal code?
The combination of your name, postal code and store/ticket number ensures that we will locate the service plan you purchased on your product.
Where do I find my Store/Terminal/Transaction/Plan numbers?
The Store/Terminal/Transaction/Plan can be found on your HBC receipt. Please use our
reference receipt
to assist in locating the information on your receipt.
