In Minnesota, Renters Insurance is underwritten by American Security Insurance Company.

Residents Liability Insurance is underwritten by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida in all states, except MN and GA. In MN, American Security Insurance Company is the underwriter, and in GA, Voyager Indemnity Insurance Company is the underwriter.

Each Insurer has sole financial responsibility for its own products.

American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida has been in business since 1947 and has $2 billion in gross written premiums. American Security Insurance Company has been in business since 1938 and has $1.9 billion in gross written premiums. These companies have a Best's Rating of "A" (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company*, an organization that rates insurance companies, based on financial strength and operating performance.
